    Actua is a Canada-wide science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) youth outreach network, delivering hands-on stem programming to youth from all over the country.

  • About:

    United for Literacy is a national charitable organization aimed to increase literacy across Canada. They offer programs across the country, including in Québec. They partner with local organizations in Montréal, Sherbrooke, and Québec City, and Nunavik.

Province-Wide

  • About:

    The Community Network Bursary Program is dedicated for students in health and social services programs as part of Dialogue McGill’s retention program that aims to increase the capacity of health and social workers in Québec.

    Highlights:

    Bursary program for health and social services students • Canadian citizens or permanent residents • The bursary is awarded in exchange for students staying in their home region and working for a year after graduating

  • About:

    LEARN Quebec is a non-profit organization serving the province’s English-speaking community by providing free educational resources.

    Highlights:

    Tutoring services (grades 2-11) • Curriculum materials for educators and parents • Online educational programs: virtual summer school and a virtual campus.

Montréal

  • About:

    The ACDPN is a network organization that aims to enhance and provide leadership on topics of access to health and social services for members of the English-speaking Black community of Montréal.

  • About:

    DESTA is a non-profit organization that aims to support and promote excellence, empowerment, and reinforce authenticity amongst Black youth aged 18-35.

    Highlights:

    Tutoring and educational support services • Career counseling
    Business mentorships and courses • Free individual and group mental health counseling • Counselling and reintegration services for incarnated individuals

  • About:

    The EMSB is the largest English public school board in Quebec. EMSB consists of 35 elementary schools, 16 secondary, eight alternative and seven social affairs schools, as well as 10 adult and vocational centers.

  • About:

    ENvironnement JEUnesse is a non-profit organization focused on environmental education and youth engagement through workshops, community projects, and sustainable development initiatives.

  • About:

    LOJIQ is a non-profit organization offering international youth mobility, entrepreneurship, and career development opportunities for youth aged 18–35.

  • About:

    Phelps Helps is a non-profit organization in Stanstead, Québec, working to reduce high school dropout rates and help community members succeed.

    AGAPE is a non-profit, charitable organisation dedicated to supporting the underprivileged English-speaking and multicultural people of Laval.

    Highlights:

    Youth literacy and anti-drop out programs • Emergency housing • Free baked goods • Social service consultations with a fully bilingual social worker

  • About:

    Trouve ta ressource is a Laval-wide resource directory that helps residents find a wide range of services, including English-language options.

Lanaudière

  • About:

    STEP is a free website dedicated to training tutors through a 4-hour online module. The program also provides resources and ready-made lessons to support both the tutor and the tutee.

Montérégie

  • About:

    MEPAC is a non-profit that serves the interests of the English-Speaking community of Montègèrie East.

    The New Frontiers School Board is a bilingual school board in southwestern Québec.

    The WQLC is a volunteer organization that helps English-speaking adults, families, and youth improve reading, writing, speaking, listening, numeracy, and other life skills through individualized programs.
