Vent Over Tea offers offer a free and confidential active listening service to promote mental wellness and connection. They are currently recruiting for multiple volunteer positions: Communications Coordinator, Outreach Coordinator, Workshop Coordinator, Event Coordinator, and Campus Volunteers. On average, volunteers give 5-10 hours per week, depending on their capacity and availabilities.

Participants learn tools like social media, content creation, and digital communication, then apply them through real projects with community organizations (OBNL). The program aims to strengthen employability, encourage social engagement, and make digital skills more accessible and inclusive, especially for underrepresented youth.

They offer critical medical, social, and legal services to youth with a commitment to non-judgment, harm reduction, holistic care, education, and confidentiality. They encourage all applications to their Board, though they are especially interested in recruiting applicants that fall within their age mandate (ages 25 years old and younger): they’re committed to creating an organization as diverse as the communities they serve. There is no need to have any formal training or prior board experience to be on the Head & Hands board.

Call for Applications: Youth Delegation

The AQOCI is launching a call for applications to form its youth delegation to participate in the COP31 in Turkey this November. The AQOCI will cover accommodation costs for the duration of the trip. They are seeking youth with a commitment to climate justice, who demonstrate an interest in participating in COP31, and who demonstrate autonomy and open-mindedness.

Governance Programs – Call for Applications

These training courses aim to facilitate young people’s access to decision-making spaces and prepare the next generation of governance leaders. There are two options: the 125-hour University Certification Course in Corporate Governance, which leads to an ASC designation, or the 23-hour Crown Corporate Governance Course which teaches a better understanding the realities and requirements of Crown corporations and broadens the pool of qualified directors.

E&D – Engagé·e·s et Déterminé·e·s is offering individual membership for youth between 15 and 35 who are interested in international solidarity, citizenship, and engagement. The membership allows youth to: access resources, training, and events; exchange and share experiences with professionals; and participate in advocacy, professional integration, and youth exchange programs. This year, individual members can also apply to be on the Board of Directors.

The Fonds de recherche du Québec has launched of two introductory research grant programs for the 2026–2027 fiscal year. These programs aim to encourage college and undergraduate students to explore the world of research in one of the fields covered by the FRQ’s Society and Culture sector, and to develop their scientific communication skills.
