Project Impact

Beurling Academy, Montréal

Beurling Academy is located within close proximity to Montréal’s city centre in the borough of Verdun. The majority of Québec’s English-speaking community resides in the city of Montréal. Historically, Verdun is a working-class neighbourhood that has seen an increase in gentrification. Beurling Academy is unique for running educational projects where students address a need in their community in Grade 9, or put forth a personal creative piece in Grade 10. We’re excited to see what these students come up with to represent Montréal!
