Understand youth needs and concerns firsthand *
Y4Y is consistently running consultations to identify the issues of concern to English-speaking Québec youth. This is meant to help Y4Y decide on topics for their issue-based conferences, “by and for youth,” and to gain a deeper understanding of what young Québecers have to say about the following issues. The results of these consultations will be used to influence policy briefs and other Y4Y publications, and could become part of future Y4Y research projects.

3) Paint the Issues: Participants individually paint their hopes for the upcoming year, and brainstorm issues affecting youth in their community.
4) A Shared Art Project: Participants brainstorm issues affecting youth in their community and then collectively work on a painting, collage, or drawing representing their ideas.
